Kizashi Paint Codes and Website for Paint Ordering

So one of the projects I need to do this summer is fix the crack in the front bumper on Kitsune (my red 2012 SLS). First thing I wanted to do was find the paint code for my car. I don't have a picture of it at this time, but I found it at the bottom of the black sticker on the passenger side B pilla...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

TLDR: Milky rear diff/transfer case oil is probably a bad sign Always use a broken down cardboard box when you're changing the fluids in your vehicle Warm 5W-30 motor oil has basically the same consistency as water If applicable: Remember to open the container that you're using to catch the fluids t...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Finalized registering Kitsune with the State of Kansas.

Enjoying the view from my office every day now.

Kitsune is an island of vivid color in a bland fleet of white, black, and grey vehicles on an endless blacktop.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Kitsune's title is from South Carolina, so I had to take her to the Kansas Highway Patrol Inspection Office to I can get her ready for registration. As long as you have clear title, all they do is check the VIN numbers around your vehicle to make sure that you didn't cut off parts and put them back ...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Yeah, just drivin'...soon t be a thing of the past if we allow it to happen. Heard something today about the EU mandating individual vehicle speed control (based upon speed limits) in all vehicles by 2022. Not hard to do now that, little by little by little, 'we' the consumers willingly allow (and ...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Yesterday, I busted out the Goo Gone and removed the decal that the dealership put on Kitsune, as well as the dealer license plate holder. After the non-sense I had to go thru to acquire Kitsune, I don't want to be advertising for those guys. Day or 2 before that I filled up the spare tires in both ...

Re: Trip computer

What did you use to clean it? I've used both carb/choke cleaner and Sea Foam. The Sea Foam was so much better. Also, do you have a manual? If you had the CSV I'm surprised it wasn't stumbling all over itself when coming to a stop particularly, an abrupt stop. CRC Throttle Body & Air Intake Clea...

Re: Trip computer

Nice photos on the TB clean. It's been one thing I've neglected so this helps in reminding me to do it at the next service. I saw this thread over the weekend, and since it was the nicest outside yesterday it's been in a long while, I also decided to scrub out the throttle body in Kitsune as well. ...
