Voltage is one thing...the battery's ability to deliver the proper amount of current (cold crank amps or CCA) required by the load is a different 'thing'. The complete health of the battery.

I'm still bummed that your beautiful Kizashi was wrecked. It was a shining example of a well cared for, irreplaceable specimen. Always been a Toyota fan, solid and reliable brand for the most part.
