Fuel/air/spark
First post here and a new member obviously, SMH sorry. So the kizashi has been perfect the last 30k with no issues and last weekend it acted as if it ran out of gas and stalled out, it restarted 3 times and each time have the same symptoms, out of gas. Decided it has to be a fuel pump being it was topped off less then an hour prior. Went through the pain and agony of fuel pump removal and install and re-pressurized the system and yay it starts then bogs down and dies. I can get it to start and run but it is well below idle rpm and eventually bogs down. It will every 5-7 cranks jump to 1200 rpm, purr then bog down. I unplugged the mas filter and got it to 2500 rpm but is showing signs that tps is bad, every time I hit the gas pedal it drops in rpm? I love this car but frustrated as can be and zero suzuki dealerships in the area not that I think it would help at this point. Also no codes until I unplugged the mas sensor as expected. Thank you in advance for any help!!!!
You need to be doing tests to determine what is wrong rather than playing parts darts just throwing random parts at it. Dropping in rpm when you open the throttle does sound like a fuel delivery problem, a fuel pressure test at the engine would be the way to determine that. Could be a clogged filter, or a failed fuel pressure regulator. It also could be about a hundred other things, you need some testing to narrow it down.
