I have a 2015 Kisashi In Mexico,A few month ago I got the "Service Start System" alert, They changed a fuse at the shop and everything was ok. 10 days after that I got the Check Engine light on, and it would not change gears or go above 40KMH. The Suzuki shop had a hard time running the scanner and later determined it was the "transmission module"(TCM) they got a new one however it did not work. And the Check engine light still goes on, and does not change gears. They say they don't have a solution as they cannot program the new module which is not recognized by the valve body. I will appreciate any help with this issue.
First of all, it would be helpful to know a little bit more information such as how many miles are on the vehicle. What fuse was actually replaced? What was the cause of the fuse to blow? With all of these variables I can only guess so here goes. The fuse that was replaced was probably one of the accessory fuses. I've seen this happen before when charging cell phones. But when I've seen this, it's never had any effect on the transmission computer. It may be true that it needs a transmission computer, and when they say a new one means they went and got a used one that was new to the car. This will not work. Unless if you get the matching rom that's been married to the computer.( this is a small black square that is bolted to the original valve body inside transmission. An actual Suzuki service area should be able to hook up to Suzuki headquarters and clean off the transmission computer and allowing it to marry another ROM. I do not have this ability anymore and neither does my nearest Suzuki service area here in the states. This would be how I handle a bad transmission computer as I get a used 2010 Kizashi transmission computer and install that, erase the codes and make sure the codes are gone. Drive the car and make sure the codes are still gone, and that transmission works correctly. All other years of the transmission computer will have to have the matching ROM unless if you have the ability to what they call, virginize, the computer. I still have more questions . Were they finally able to read codes on all systems except transmission? If no codes could be read , there is something they are missing. Maybe power to dlc3 . Thrower supply in lower center of dash and under arm rest sometimes gets a coin shorting it out. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, the vehicle has 90K Km 56,000 miles. I don't know what fuse what actually replaced, I believe it had to do with the accesory fuses as I Plugged an ai pump to the cigarette lighter a couple the day before this happened. The Suzuki Service area, said the scanner pointed at the start up relay, as the art on the vehicle was " service start system" . What I understand is that the Suzuki Service area actually ordered a new TCM from the headquarters in Japan ( It took 4 month for it to get here) . However they say that the car does not recognize it ( probably the ROM issue that you mention ) And in order to change the Rom they would sell me the whole valve Body ( which sells for half the price I paid for the car 9 year ago) . The Service area tell me they are not able to program or marry the new TCM to the ROM, and that there's nothing they can do. They Suggest some technician may help. Finally, Before all this happened I accidentally drove it with a flat tire for 10 km as a rim broke on a pothole, I m afraid that the vibration may have caused all this damage. I am curious wether this car may be fixed, our should I just scrap it..... I would love to fix it, it is a great car.
If their diagnosis is correct and it was a faulty transmission computer, a 2010 computer will fix this car. No other parts needed. Would you have any access to finding one of those? As I said it must be from a 2010 model. Wished you were closer. I know I could have this working correctly pretty quickly.
