Fog lights 2010 sls please help

Ok so after hard thinking I may have a answer for this gaps between fog lights and plastic in bumper. I think the problem is that when dealer painted car they installed fog lights from inside. I am not sure if fog lights should be installed from inside or outside and just be covered by that black plastic. One time I did pull half bumper down and saw that fog lights are screw from inside bumper. Now I am thinking that maybe they should be installed from outside. Maybe somebody from you guys pull down bumper or installed fog lights to kizashi and know the proper way they should be installed.

Ok I did it. Pulled bumper down and was like I thought they installed it from inside. Took off black plastic and put it fog lights from outside and put plastic back on and it is like from new.
