key fob ??

only one of my fobs will do n e thing,the other one works fine dealer
[1 1\2 hour away} says i have to bring it in and they hook it up to diagnostics
thing and program fob !! i held it up to start button but still fails to read fob !
anyone else have this or know of a fix ??

I know this sounds simple, but have you tried replacing the battery in it?

yep i switched batt with the one that worked ! well shirt !!!

update===dealer HAD to reprogram fob !! it takes an act of god to break through the security Suzuki has put into this car !! you can steal it but all youll have is a hunk of scrap metal without the fob !!! very re-assuring !!

As some of our Kizashi's are getting older.
I had to switch to my other fob because it would not
operate the key-less door locks any more. I Have not tried to replace the
battery yet. Does anyone know the battery size or number,
or tried to replace the battery?

I just opened mine to take a look, button battery CR2032, look the same as the battery for my 2007 Nissan Altima, you can get it at Radio Shack or Staples, I got mine at Staples.
