defrost re-program ?

on my honda SI you could reprogram the defrost to run without running the a\c compressor kickin in ,,n e one done this , or can you even do it on kiz ? i loved it on the SI

When the defrost is on and the A/C automatically kicks on, it's as simple as pushing the A/C button, defrost stays on, A/C goes off.

I think almost all modern cars run the AC compressor when the defrost is on.

I have never found a way to turn it off, but I haven't really looked very hard either.

i thought that too Rob0381,,but it doesnt !! yea the a/c light goes out but the a/c compressor is STILL locked in
i checked it with a flash light defrost on, a/c on and off and it stays locked in while in defrost mode
