I also ask some of the local locksmith, some said they only do virgin key fob, some just say we can do it no problem

Found this video and considering the person had to manually confirm the actions on the tablet, it would seem that the unit isn't even required...



Edit: Looked at it again and the device is totally required :facepalm:
