I am thinking about installing the XM option to my oem navi radio but have this question. The antenna that comes with the XM accessory kit is a magnetic mount type that won't hide the wires going to or from it but the oem factory xm antenna comes installed in the back of the roof with the wires hidden under the headliner.Well my question is ,is the oem antenna plug and play for the xm module or do I have to use the magnetic mount antenna that they supply.( I can buy the oem one for $114.46 and it comes already painted for your cars color).
