Think my battery is going out after only 2 yrs and 30,000 miles.
Anyone else had to replace theirs?

No issues with my battery in my MY 2011. Going out after 2 years/ 30k miles is rather premature. Would it be covered by warranty?
If not, I would get an Interstate Battery. When I bought my old Impreza, it came with an Interstate Battery in it. Nearly 10 years and 100,000 miles later, I sold the car with the same battery in it. It never failed me once.
Interstate is also from Texas.

The battery in our previous Mazda 6 lasted just over 12mths - which just happened to be the warranty period on the battery.... The actual vehicle warranty was 3yrs.

Apparently, battery warranty is only 24/24,000 - I was over by 6000 miles
Dealers price was competitive with Sears DieHard Gold.
FYI - DieHard Platinum (made by Odyssey) is the best battery out there, period. It's the only thing I will use in my trucks which have extreme electrical needs.

The batteries they put in suzukis aren't the best. We had to replace the one in our 08 SX4 after around 2 years. I was rather surprised at that as well.
Second the Sears Platinum (as long as they don't switch manufactureres). A lot of the 4 wheeler crowd rate them high even for winch duty.

It could be a case of the original batteries sitting around (eg. at the Suzuki factory, during shipping of the vehicles etc) in a semi discharged state. That will shorten the life of a wet cell battery.
