Hey guys,
Any idea what "error 2" is on the non RF system is? Only happens when my old iPhone is connected to USB. I only use the phone as an iPod now, every other iPod/phone i've tried doesnt have this problem. Mostly happens when I turn the car on. The solution is to plug the iPhone in again but i'm getting -very- tired of doing that every single time I get in the car, also happens frequently when cornering hard.
I also get "Unsupported device" with any usb device that isnt an 'i' device such as my Samsung Galaxy S3 but nobody else seems to have this problem?
Non RF Stereo "Error 2"
I'm researching my own issue for my non-RF sound system and I just so happened to be looking at the page for audio system error messages in the driver's manual right before I opened your thread... Which is moderately convenient I supposed...
Anyways, it's curious that the manual list 3 Error message designations for USB devices: "Error 1", "Error 3", and "Error 4"... The manual does not mention an "Error 2" message, nor explain what it could mean.
Sorry I can't be more help, but hopefully, this will keep people from looking in the driver's manual, which is very not useful for this issue, apparently.

NO! Don't cross to the dark side. Don't buy Apple!Wonson92 wrote:I cant get any luck with android, error 2 persist. Thinking about a new ipod:/
You might be able to update your phone? I found an "official" HTC update for mine that took it from 2.x to 4.0.3 - try Google. (Apparently HTC developed the update but then decided not to release it. It got leaked onto the internet by someone.)

I have had this issue as well with my iPod nano. The user manual for the car (2010) does say to disconnect USB-operated devices before turning off the engine, I never do. There's a window in time after turning off the car where I can turn it right back on again and be fine, or come back in a longer while and it works, but during that in-between time, ERROR 2.
Guys, just use a flash drive. No i-devices, no g-devices, no problems.
