Kizashi Club

So my kizashi is starting to have this faint high pitch almost hydraulic sounding noise when I let off the brake and let the car roll from stop. It only lasts for a second or so. But occasionally (twice), there is an associated grinding sound, again only when I let go off brake. No such sound is heard after pressing on throttle. It's not heard when the car slows down to a stop. Car has 8500k so I doubt it is the brake pads? Any ideas or if anyone had this problem?

The car has a hill assist feature, doesn't it? Maybe something is acting up with that system.

Mine does this every morning, pretty loud hydraulic like sound when I let off brake and most time when I brake...very annoying in traffic...my hill assist has been a lil screwy anyway, coming on when I stop on pretty much a flat surface once in a while and not coming on at all at certain times when I stop on a hill

How do you know if your hill assist comes on when you are on a flat surface? You mean the car fails to roll forward on a flat surface upon letting off brake?

My Car is doing the same, its an manual and does not have hill assit, This has started only recently and I have clocked about 8500 kms

Our CVT transmission did this exact same thing. It ended up getting replaced. We are on our 4th transmission now for various reasons, but it made this sound the second time it was replaced.
