Anyone heard of aftermarket replacements for Kizashi Rear Shocks? Dealer quoted me $800 pair installed, probably 10 times more than I've ever paid for shocks.

you can almost get full coilovers for that much... those are the only aftermarket ones i know of. I dont even think rockauto has any listed.

Is it the front or rear shocks you need? A lot of that price is probably for the labour to do the job. (The rears would be easy to swap, the fronts a lot harder.)

You need new shocks this soon? Even if you have a 2010, seems a little early for them to be shot..

Assuming of course you don't drive on bombed out roads every day and have 70k+ miles already. :o

I've read of a few people having them (the rears mainly?) fail from oil leaks. A 2010 might be out of warranty?

PS: The other forum showed you can buy the genuine rears online for around US$180.
