Key Fob Programming

Does anyone know how to or have a link on how to program the key fob for the keyless start? I got two from the dealer when I bought the 2011 SLS but one of them was held together with scotch tape and I'm afraid it might not work for long. I've purchased another one on ebay but I'd like to program it myself.

I think the Key Fob works in a different way.

Thanks, I did a forum search and didn't find this article. So the car learns the different key fobs? I'd like to find out more about this.
