Dear All,

I wish to start this thread to act as a forum for Kizashi Owners in India as this is a very small community (probably < 1000 cars/owners). There was only one series launched in India in mid 2011 having 2 variants being CVT and MT.

Please feel free to post your queries, upgrades specific to these models here.

Thanks & Regards,
Puneet

Maruti Suzuki India has only 3 accessories to offer for Kizashi via their MGA (Maruti Geniune Accessories) as earlier mentioned in another post ie Mud Flaps, Floor Mats & Body Cover (currently unavailable).

Listing my wish list for Kizashi accessories / upgrades (based on cost):
1) Window visors - ebay US or Germany
2) Day time running lights near the fogs, I have seen some online (snapdeal.com) from Hella 6 LED ones for Rs. 6500/- but still thinking if I should buy online since I would have to install myself and I will only buy if it does not require any messing with the car harness, should only get power directly from the fuse box - these are my initial thought on, this will post details if I go ahead with it.
3) Rain Tracker for rain sensing wipers and light sensing auto head lights (Rs. 6,500/- on snapdeal.com but who will install??)
4) Vinyl wraps for the roof, hood, sides. I'm thinking of various designs but the one in the header image of Kizashi Club is very cool too and my car colour is the same too.
5) Hood scoop
6) Sun-roof!!! (Just spoke to webasto dealer in Mumbai the range is from Rs. 22,000/- for the pop up manual model until Rs. 160,000/- for the large sunroof (coverd by cloth) (US$ 400 - US$ 3000)
7) Full Body skirts
8) Road Race Turbo kit!!!!! wish I had so much spare money!

I was at the service station day before and got to see the Maruti genuine Accessories list, to my surprise I saw Door Visors listed!!! When enquired with was told this is just listed but not available. Today got a call that they can order it on my behalf, once I confirmed they have ordered it with a waiting period of 2 weeks. Waiting.......and very excited!

Hello, I want to buy a Suzuki Kizashi (used) in india and need your help. I have 3 cars on my radar:
• 2011 Petrol CVT 52000kms run (2nd owner) - Asking 4lakhs INR
• 2011 Petrol CVT 74000kms run (1st owner) - Asking 4.75lakhs INR (this car is with a dealer)
• 2012 Petrol CVT 62000kms run (1st owner) - Asking 4.5lakhs INR

Which is the better choice? I think the 2012 model is a good choice. Car will cover around 20000kms in a year, and I only intend to use if for the next 2-3 years. Will it be a good buy? What issues do I have to look out for? Is the CVT gearbox reliable? Any other mechanical/electrical issues I should check in the car? Please answer these questions as I don't have enough knowledge about Kizashis in India.

Thanks alot for reading this and for helping me! :D

Just go with the one you like most and you would like to see the current state of the car and its maintenance cause it can easily cost a lot of money if you would need 4 tyres, brakes, all filters/liquids. The rear shocks had a little issue. Most people have them replaced one or 2 times. Replacement is not tgat expensive and easily to do yourself.

1. Engine noise is bit more
2. There is no volume controller it fell down
3. And paddle shift - (down) button not working properly

Welcome.

You can get a new stereo control knob from the internet. I suggest searching parts sites like megazip.net or even ebay for used parts. I imagine finding the part is hard for a rare car like the Kizashi.

While your car has relatively low mileage, it may have been neglected with maintenance if it runs a bit rough. Make sure the engine air filter is clean and I also suggest cleaning the Mass Airflow Sensor and Throttle Body. These should help smooth out the engine, especially if they were dirty.
Your car has a CVT (automatic transmission) that should have a full fluid replacement at this mileage. It is advised to drop the pan and replace the filter too. Servicing the CVT is important for longevity.
As for the engine motor oil, Suzuki calls for 5W-30. Using synthetic motor oil is advised if you plan to keep the car a long time.
Lastly, check the suspension. The rear shocks are known to fail prematurely and will cause a rougher and noisier ride.

Good luck.

63k kilometers is just under 40k miles according to Google; did you mean that or think Gani said 63k miles? Either way, my car is at 66k miles and I haven’t gone near the transmission pan, let alone know where it is or how to service it . I have been driving more gently overall the last couple years, however.
Might take it to a mechanic for that job, maybe a Nissan specialist
And before anyone says that it’s an easy DIY or anything of the like, I am not a good DIY mechanic.

Hi guys,
So exactly 1 year ago today, I converted my kizashi to CNG here in Delhi. Rising fuel costs and high running were the primary reasons for this. Who knew just a couple of days after the lockdown will happen and everything will come to a stop. Anyhow if any one needs any help/information about kizashi CNG, please feel free to get in touch.

Try searching for it on the boodmo app. Yesterday I ordered the roof rail caps which i wasn't able to source even from maruti and boodmo delivered in 2 days. Attaching the part no.for reference.
