Crack in engine block

Seems like a straight up case of abuse. Nothing for the JB24 community to be concerned about.

Initially, I only found the bit about another cracked block. I edited the original post - after finding the other posts from the same user.

It would seem a few Grand Vitara's with the J24B have suffered the block cracking - see the previous link for more posts since last December with some people posting they've had the problem.

Engine short block was replaced by Suzuki Dealer (Sydney City) due to a manufacturing defect (28 February 2014).
It doesn't seem that widespread, but it's definitely happening.
