Where Can You Buy the Factory Service Manual Printed?

Even though I have the electronic versions of the manual, I want an official print version. For as inexpensive as these usually are, they're a great tool to have in the shop while you're working.

But the problem is, I can't seem to find a Suzuki part number or a listing at helminc.com. Anyone have any info?

I have never seen it in print. They used to have it online. You could buy access for a day (That is where your copy came from).

I'll have to ask the next dealership I call. There's got to be more than just an electronic copy. I wonder if there's a few sitting in the Suzuki parts warehouse that they'd be more than happy to get rid of.

It is likely with all of the dealer ships that closed. They probably just tossed the service manuals out though. There might be a few new ones sitting around. Get a junky tablet and use the electronic copy it will cost less than a paper copy of the manual... :)

I tried to purchase a hard copy of the manuals for my XL-7 about six years ago here in Australia. The Suzuki dealer said straight up that you can't buy them. I guess Suzuki are trying to corner the maintenance market. :(

You can just print the file on three hole paper and put it in a binder..

They do have printed versions of the parts manuals at the service center. I've seen them..SX4, GV and Kiz. I have the one for my Samurai, but that's circa 1991. They don't use any them. (until the on-line bit fails or no longer works). They aren't in the printed service manual or touch-up paint business. Two things you could always negotiate in to the price of the purchase.

I could, but it's still not an official manual. There's always subtle differences.

Thank you for the confirmation Ronzuki! I found a site that has all of them available but the Kizashi. Any idea if the Kizashi is super-rare or anything?

I hate tablets when I'm working on a car. It's nice just to have a real manual you can read. I don't mind the price as it's really worth the information. My Corvette FSM was three NY telephone books of specs and procedures that covered even the European versions of the car. All for just over $100. Best investment ever.

There's another thread going regarding the 'rare' or 'cult car' debate. Simply put there weren't enough sold here to allow aftermarket or even OE accessories and the like to take off. I put in several requests to WeatherTech to produce their floor mats for both the Kiz and the SX4 at the same time. They only recently started selling them for the SX4. (more cars sold). I bought the lesser quality more expensive OE rubber mats for the Kiz.
