Can anyone tell me where the pcv valve is located?

In the "cylinder head cover". It shouldn't be too hard to locate once the engine cover is removed.

I thought about that after posting this. Sometimes I don't think lol. Thans for the reply though.

You never know, it could have been remotely located. :)

PS: Did you know the evap canister is located above the rear diff on the AWD models? The diff has to be removed to change it....

This is true, and I guess I'm glad I have the fwd model.

Because the evap canister requires frequent replacement?

I don't have a problem with "lifetime" items being hard to service ... Toyotas penchant for making frequently changed items like belts difficult really pisses me off though.

I'm glad it's easily accessible in the Kizashi. My former Mazda3 had the PCV valve behind the intake manifold. You had to remove it to access the PCV valve.
Most engines have it very accessible and usually on top of the engine. I've change it in my Sidekick and Impreza before with ease.

Try telling that to this guy!

I found that info out after investigating his question! A lot of other vehicles I've owned have had them in the engine bay.

Hey guys, we need to change the pcv valve in our kizashi. Can one of you walk us thru it? It sounds relatively easy but I couldn't find any manuals or directions anywhere.
