Hello,
a friend in Germany has a problem. His KIZASHI runs good, but if hier drive one hour or more and the engine is normal hot, there is a problem. He stops engine, waits some minutes or half an hour, the engine has a problem to start. Start-4000 r/min, shakes and out.Or 4000 r/min, back too 3000 r/min and than everthing ist normal.
Sometimes he starts engine and the Rev counter ist zero, and some seconds later he shows 7oo r/min---normal.
Is here anyone, who has the same problem ever had ????
Thanks for answers, and i hope, you can understand, what i mean---because of my English :(
Many greetings :drive:

Is the car a CVT (automatic transmission) or manual transmission Kizashi?
Is the car moving when it goes to 4000 RPM or is it doing this when stopped and idle?

Hello,
its a manuell transmisson KIZASHI.
The 4000 r/min ist after the start when the car do not move.
The KIZASHI is 3,5 years old with 75 000 Kilometers = 46602 miles.
Thank you !!! :drive:

Is the car showing a Check Engine Light at all?

I wonder if it's a faulty Throttle Position Sensor, but it's mysterious why it does this only after it's driven for a while.

Hello,
the problem ist found, he hopes so....
The battery has just 9,6 volt by starting the engine.. The ESP control unit says: not enough power.
He took a startbooster an the engine run without problems.
Now he will put a new battery in the KIZASHI....
Wait and see... ;)
Thank you

These cars appear to be very power hungry animals. The factory batteries are not the best either.
