Shock Replacement and Lowering Springs

Hi everybody! The time has come and both of my rear shocks have blown so I figured I'd just replace all four, since I'm sitting at ~55,000 miles. I've been doing some searching and looks like KYB shocks are the way to go.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other shocks besides the KYB ones?

Also, I figured since I'm replacing the shocks/struts and have been wanting to go lower for some time now, I may as well buy lowering springs. I was thinking about the H&R Sport Lowering Springs.

I know one other user on here has had them installed and was satisfied with them. Wondering if anyone else has any other opinions.

Any other suggestions/recommendations are welcome.

Thank you!

It would be worth checking to see if it would be done for free.

You are outside of the 36K bumper to bumper but I would still check. I think others have had it done fore free.
