Shaneous, couldn't you just use bluetooth and then create playlists on your HD2's music app?

Darryl, are you sure that they're MP3 format? It won't play stuff purchased in iTunes, they use a different file format.

Yep - They are MP3, I have burned them onto a CD and tried them in the car and works fine.
They display as MP3.
Love the stereo, just need to work out the USB.

I checked to see if my music on my MP3 player were MP3 and they are. When pluged into my USB port it say's unsupported as well. That is why I thought it was only for iphones. I'll get a flash drive and see if that works. Oh yes, I downloaded music to my MP3 player from Rapsody.

What kind of player do you have? Does it have a way to turn on Mass Storage mode?

A corsair 2GB (mass storage mode).

Can you let me know what USB Flash you are using and I'll try one.

Many Thanks

Quickie:

My wife's iPod shuffle reads unsupported device, my iPhone plays no problem, my MuVo mp3 player works fine, and every USB jump-drive I have put into the car works fine.

Thanks Ghost - purchased a Sandisk - all good.
Head Unit must only support certain USB drives.

Car handles much better with Guns N Roses :D

p.s. If you want to clean up the display of MP3's, try "mp3tag".
You can edit the song titles, artist etc.

Glad that worked for you! I hear Led Zeppelin gives you at least 10 hp.

The Aussie XLS doesn't have stock bluetooth. About the only thing it doesn't have! but yes, you are probably correct!
