Hello, does anyone know where to get or possibly have a spare key fob, shell only? I've searched all over for a spare shell, but only find fobs with electronics in them. My girlfriends spare key works, the electronics, however the key is BUSTED. The latch mechanism doesn't hold in place for the slide out key and seeing the pics, it's busted. I took it apart to clean it up some, but nothing I can do to fix the key. It was even taped in places lol. I asked what in the world this key went through, but she doesn't know... haha right.

Cracked plastic shell. You can see the latch mechanism for the key in it. The spring is gone/missing.


Electronics are fine

Likely have to suck it up and buy an entire new FOB. Good news is you won't have to incur the additional, and salty, cost of reprogramming if you carefully swap the boards.

Can you find a Nissan shell? I know they look the same, but I'm not sure if they're exactly the same or not.

Agreed. Try to find a Nissan shell where the buttons line up. Nissan and Suzuki used the same OE supplier for their key fobs so they are very similar. You may have some luck on ebay.
