Anyone know if there is a good wire or fuse that I can tap into that comes on when the vehicle is turned on?

I checked all the fuses in the fuse box under hood and everything has power all the time.

My last resort will be tap into one of the headlights.

Btw, anyone know how the high/low beams work? I see 6 wires going to that one ballast. I assume 2 for that little orange bulb and 4 for the main bulb. Is there something online that increases voltage for high beams or do 2 wires provide low and 2 wires provide high?

The power outlet in the center console comes on when the car is turned on, maybe you can use that one.

In the fuse box under the hood, driver's side... Item #33 is the Rear Defogger relay switch. Pull that and you'll have 4 tabs. the slot closest to the firewall is powered when engine is running. I've slipped a wire with exposed wire into the slot, then pressed the Relay back down firmly.

I believe it's only a 15amp relay so if you're powering anything greater it may trip the relay, but I ran the defogger this morning with no issues

Just some LEDs so I shouldn't have a problem.

What are you doing if you don't mind my asking? Unless you want it to be a surprise.
