boot locks

does anyone have a solve for this boot issue
my wife says when you close the boot it locks ,so when you go back 30sec later to operate it you need to press the FOB
ive read the manual (light on info in this area)

The trunk/boot automatically locks. However, it has a button built into the lid so pressing that with the fob nearby (within a meter) will unlock it. You don't need to use the fob's button to unlock it as long as the fob itself is nearby.

You can also us the button on the driver's side dash. So you could have a sensor issue or the button on the trunk lid may be malfunctioning,
