Just bought a 2011 Kizashi sls awd 68000km P0842 code

I just bought this car and love it butam having a intermittent problem with real slow off line starts.turn off engine and restart and car is OK again.code P0842 shows up. Anybody have a cost on fixing this.

If it is indeed the Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor, here is the best I could come up with that specifically mentions its for the JF011E transmission. It’s remanufactured :? But ships from the USA.

I bet KuroNekko or one of the other common contributors may be able to come up with a picture of where it is on the transmission. Hopefully not inside of it.

I'd have to guess that's an external sensor pictured in the ebay link. It's connector doesn't appear to be of an oiltight type design.

jep, threaded piece goes in the housing and connector is outside. must be (hope i wrote in good english)

The 842 code ended up being a 300$ bad wire at transmission shop. Now I am a happy kizashi owner. I don't know if I will see another kiz on the road in Canada .Rare car here
