Here around Buffalo we get salter streets for 7 months a year sometimes. Once i get this fixed i am going to check all the door jamb connectors and fill them with dielectric grease, they really should be weather tight. But after 102,000 miles i am still very impressed by this car, and the 2 SX4s i bought before this too.
oh, and AlGar i changed my plugs at about 60,000 miles (still looked like new) and got some double platinums from Autozone (APP5325). Car still idles and runs great after over 40,000 miles and will change them again. Only $5 a piece.

Glad it wasn’t the BCM and that you found the likely culprit. Though the actual problem sounds daunting. I’m still pretty sure changing the BCM in the driveway wouldn’t have fixed the issue, had that been it, till it was synced up with main ECU at a service center that still has Suzuki support.
