Recently, the illumination light on the tachometer has gone out, come back out and gone out again. i have not been able to find a replacement bulb/fuse in the owner's manual. Is there one or should I look for a mechanic?

@barra48: I feel your pain. Kizashi I just acquired also exhibits this issue.

The instrument lights are LED emitters so if one is acting up, you need to replace the emitter. This means accessing the circuit board, removing the faulty emitter, and soldering in a replacement. It's a cumbersome task but will allow you to customize the emitter color to your liking.
