I've got kids I need to fasten in the back seat and the damn rear doors close on me automatically. I need to be parked on a downhill incline to keep them open. Anyone else experience this and know of a fix?
Car is a norwegian 2010 AWD
Anyone else struggle with keeping the rear doors open?

Yup that happens to me too
These cars dont have a "cap" (idk how to call it) that stops the door from closing.
I dont know why, since practically ALL of the cars Ive driven/seated in have one.
Now i just live with it lol

There are also two other options:
1) replace only 2 worn out plastic pads inside each door limiter.
2) add a 0.5-0.75 mm shim between plastic pad and rubber cushion . Just remove 2 screws, unfold 4 metal tabs, and you will see central plastic rod squeezed between 2 sets of plastic pad and rubber cushion. Repair is easy, took about 30 mins per door.
