Kizashi Club

My last three cars had these rear mouse fur wheel liners. They tend to retain moisture, dirt and salt. I remember my Kizashi's would still produce mud after power washing for a good 10 mins. I wonder if these liners will promote rust/rot https://rustconverters.net/krud-kutter-rust-remover/ quicker than plain old plastic ones?
