Cheap fix 14 faded red wing

The rear wing on the Red Kizashi’s seems to have the clearcoat burn off somewhat quickly and I’ve come up with this repair as a quick and inexpensive fix. Tape off wing and wet sand lightly using 1000 grit. Be careful to just remove the burned clear . It’s very thin and easy to go through . You won’t be able to get it perfect this way but it will look a lot better and I’m no body man
. Looking at it wet will give you a very good idea of what it will look like after 2 coats of clear. Tape off rest of trunk lid . I removed the trunk lid to paint but if you cover car and use a new can of 2k clear and cover rest of car should work.
