CVT Trans Cooler issue

I am from Germany and drive a 2011 Kizashi AWD with a CVT. At the moment I have a problem with the transmission oil cooler, part number 24931-57L10. The two connectors on this part are corroded right where the hoses end and the vehicle is leaking transmission fluid.
Apparently, there is already a different part number for this. Does anyone happen to have it, or has anyone had the same problem and found a universal oil cooler with similar connectors? The Suzuki dealer here is asking nearly 900 euros, and to be honest, that's just too much money.

Hi and welcome.

I recall RRM selling a universal cooler for the Kizashi but I'm not sure how available those are now or whether it is recommended. The part number you have appears to be current for the Suzuki OE part.
I checked on Megazip.net and there are brand new OE CVT coolers on there for $588 USD or 517 Euro. It ships from Japan. While still expensive, that's peace of mind that it will fit perfectly and you likely don't need to ever fix it again.

The alternative is finding a used part from another Kizashi but that can be very hard in regions where the Kizashi was not sold in good numbers like Europe. If you want a used part, maybe check eBay or a website selling used car parts.

Thank you very much for your fast and detailed response.
I hadn't heard of this website before, and I couldn't find it on Google either. It looks like this would be the best option, my recent searches on eBay etc. weren't successful at all.

I have had more than a few of these start leaking here due to corrosion at hose fittings. Ive cleaned off the corrosion and slide the hoses on further. I have yet to replace one. The rest of the cooler has been trouble free.

This was indeed my first idea to stop the leakage too. Unfortunatlly, after removing the corrosion it shows both hose fittings are cracked circumferential more than half of the diameter.

If you cant find one , Id be happy to ship a nice one 40USD + Shipping. I shipped a Porsche headlight to Germany a few years back and I dont think it was too awful.
