I have a easy question to other Kizashi owners. On the instrument panel that displays the estimated distance remaining on the fuel, what is the highest number you have seen after filing the tank. Mine never goes above 330 and I can easily drive 450 to 500 miles on the highway and the low fuel light never comes on. I just returned from a 2k plus vacation trip, averaged 34+ mpg. Each time I filled up the indicator showed 330 to 335 miles remaining but I drove 436 miles on the tank and the “low fuel light” never came on. When I filled up the car took 12.2 gallons. Is this normal or is there a method of resetting this calculation so it reads somewhat correct. I average 34 to 37 miles per gallon highway at 65 mph with cruise control on therefore it should indicate 480 to 500 miles until light comes on or 580 to 600 miles until empty. What do others indicate when refueling, after driving on the highway, and refueling.

mine always shows 360-365 miles on the indicator after fill up, i've never been able to put over 14 gallons in even after the indicator goes to --- , I typically can only squeeze out 360 at most, combination of manual and CVT modes, AWD off for the time being, AC intermittently on.

My Kizashi does the same, normal fill up shows 550km range, the most I have seen is 555km.
Maybe an indication of the fuel consumption Suzuki really expect from the Kizashi?

Mine never goes above 340. But my city mileage is not as good as I would expect for 4 cylinder somewhere around 24-25. My v6 honda gets 24 traveling the same route every week. If this car had one bad thing to talk about it's the mileage around town. Otherwise the car really nice

I averaged 29 mpg on last tank of gas, and it showed 30.5 on display, so pretty darn close. I had driven 409 miles and fuel light went on. Tank filled to 14 gallons. Not bad! :)

Mine shows me 395 on average. My 2010 showed me 410+ usually after fill up. In my normal work to home commute which is 80% highway and 20% city I get about 29 - 30 mpg on average. The best that i have done with my 2011 is 33.2 mpg which is still shy of around 36 that I got from 2010.
As you guys must have figured I am a pretty conservative driver (forced to because of two speeding tickets) ;)

You can access the mileage menu and set it to reset automaticatlu at every fill up. This way will give you a better calculation of the consumption and mileage. I found mine very accurate doing 30 miles per gallon mixed driving of 80% highway.

375 in my case has been the best. I had the previous tank average 31.5 mpg per the cluster.
