I would never advocate government censorship. But NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and Fox are all for-profit news outlets. Fox doesn't make any bones about their agenda. But growing up with the belief that news was reported and not shaped to influence has me re-thinking my choice of where I spend my money and program my channels. If no one watches they can't sell ad space and the market wins. Chuck Todd the liberal toady just gets my blood pressure up with his comments laced with bias. He's a joke. And NBC let's him do it so NBC doesn't get turned on much in my home unless there's a football game. My local paper, The Des Moines Register, endorsed Romney but their editorial board and nearly every article in the paper says otherwise. The endorsement smacks of a move to sell papers. They call me monthly with deals to subscribe and when I won't even take a free copy of the paper I certainly won't buy. If enough people would no longer buy or tune in the message gets sent and change happens. It's like Kansas City Chief's fans - if you keep buying their product when they don't try to improve it how can you get what you deserve.
