I've pretty much concluded from my own experience and from the forum that the Kizashi gets pretty poor mileage in city driving and pretty respectful mileage on the highway. The higher the average speed, the better the overall mileage. If you do a lot of city driving, I think you're stuck in below 25 MPG, maybe even closer to 20. If you do a lot of highway, probably closer to 30. If city driving is the case, you might as well not think about it and enjoy a spirited ride!

We drive mostly city and are around that 20mpg mark. But any highway trips are much better, even on the snow tires still on the car.

That's amazing. What's the AVERAGE SPEED on your dash display?

On my last tank, I went 729 km before my light came on and my avg speed on the display was 83 kph. My best range on a tank was 859 km.

Wow, phenomenal highway mileage

Edit: crunched some numbers using some assumptions (63L tank, 13L reserve based on old posts). 729km is 6.9 L/100km or 34 mpg. EPA rating is 30 mpg

"Looks" are of no interest to me, as I cannot see it whilst driving it, ay?

But, it looks very dirty, and dinged/scratched here and there. There are a few rock dings on the common impact points, but no developing creeping rust.

It runs superbly, and I regularly (constantly?) mash the accelerator pedal to the floor just for the sheer rush of accelaration.
It does make a bit of noise at lower speeds, no doubt due to all the underbody plastic panels being smashed while rough-roading, and now bouncing around until the airflow underneath tightens things up as speed increases.
Cornering and braking remain stellar, because roads aren't straight and you gotta slow down some time.......

I live in Duxbury, Vermont, work near Burlington, Vermont, and drive my Kizashi into adjoining states often.
It's available for personal inspection if anyone wants to see for themself
