How hard is it to remove stock radio in 2011 GTS?
Quite easy.
From memory the A/C control panel pulls off (reach underneath it and pull it off) and then some screws can be accessed for the head unit. Remove them and then pop out the head unit itself.
(Just take it slowly and check in case I've forgotten any screws, it's been a while since I had mine out.)
PS: To protect the silver trim surface on the centre console, apply some masking tape or vinyl tape over it before pulling anything out of the console.

I've done it, not too difficult, when I installed the HD module to the Nav unit.
