They're a State Farm approved shop. No muss, no fuss and literally right next door to my agent. All work comes with lifetime guarantee by both the shop and State Farm. Can't beat that.

How do the Borla's sound?DesRado wrote:Interesting day. Installed Borla mufflers on the Kiz. Afterward added a Kensun 5000k HID kit without relay. Relatively simple install. Am happy with the outcome.

Went with Borla 40351s. They have a very nice deep rumble at idle (phone mic can't even pick it up properly). On acceleration it is very noticeable, deep, pleasing (to me, lol) sound. Deepest sound is between 2500~3.5k rpm Haven't taken it over 4.5k yet, so no word on that. Also have not driven on the highway yet. Will update on possible drone issues in the future. I did drive under an overpass though, that throttle blip made me smile. HahaBLyons wrote:How do the Borla's sound?DesRado wrote:Interesting day. Installed Borla mufflers on the Kiz. Update: took the car on the highway last night ;D Can confirm, no annoying drone at 70mph+ with windows up no music. Turn on music it's like normal, maybe a bit quieter than stock exhaust from inside anyways. Exhaust note is most boomy/bassy at 3200 rpm (you know when the vibrations start and the sound deepens). After that it gets quieter.
For sure I did not get any gains in hp, but seat of the pants is happy, lol.
