If you don't live in a state with inspections I would probably leave it for awhile. In ND they only care if it directly affects your line of sight. My 03 mazda has had a crack since 2006

Yeah, they're phasing out safety inspections in my state. So I'll just wait it out - it's at the very bottom of my windshield and not in my line of sight

I had spent a couple hours last week and applied NuFinish to my Kizzy to prepare it for winter. Today I attended a corporate event and was being given a ride (on a golf cart) back to the Kizzy and it was sitting in the parking lot waiting with the sun glistening off from it, and I fell in love with it again. To top it off the guy driving the golf cart said "Sharp car". "What kind of car is it?".

I fall in love with it again every time I slide in behind the wheel and drive it!

122K miles and replaced original brake pads on all 4 corners. I have to say that they probably had another 25-50K left on them. Also rotated tires.

Sadly I’m off to the DMV to re-register the car with a salvaged or rebuilt title. Got a letter the other day saying the insurance company had reported it totaled after my hit and run and the car’s registration has been pulled. It’s no longer legal to drive until I clear this up. Took the insurance company 2 months to report it. I thought they had forgotten.

Replaced the high beam bulb on the passenger side that had gone out. Noticed all the little scratches on the car and it really pissed me off since I didn't put them there. Noticed that some of the paint chips on the hood now have a little bit of dark brown rust forming. :( I think it will be worth the investment to just vinyl wrap the whole car--what color should I do it in?

I also noticed our door guides dead dry of lubricant. :( The specs call for regular motor oil, but I'm wondering if a synthetic grease might be a better fit for longevity.

Planning to give the car a good wash before it gets too cold as well as change the driver's side bulbs after dropping the bumper. Looking into buying a spare set of headlights (or OEM HID units) and/or the rear covers to perform a reversible HID/LED conversion.

Spend some time on pitstop plus after seeing that ATEQ has released some new vt units and found that there's some service bulletins there that haven't been discussed here:

I'm curious about that wheel hub bearing oil seal as our fronts have looked like they've been seeping for years and do have a bit of a grindy feel to them.

Did you have any problems installing the rear pads & discs? Any special tools?

The pistons on the rear calipers do have to be turned in as opposed to pressed in. I used a flat bastard file to do it. They turned in pretty easily. Probably could have used a butter knife.

Drove on highway and ran over part of a truck tire retred and got a few breaks in the driver side plastic panel. Gorilla taped the holes for now and ordered new one, damn those things
I can put the new one on easy have friend with lift. However was wondering if I should leave this on on until spring. It really is OK looking and protected with the tape. I am just mad. I baby this car.

As a guy who drives a truck for a living I’ll say those are called tire caps. Also about 90% of those tire blowouts are due to the driver being too lazy to check them before driving. Sorry about your misfortune.
