The GTS and SLS trims come with the 425 watt R/F 10 speaker sound system. And it's fantastic.
All the literature says 10 speakers. So I've counted them. Several times and always came up with 8.
Front center on the dash 1
Tweeters in the front doors 2,3
Main speakers in the front doors 4,5
Speakers in the rear doors 6,7
Sub-woofer in the rear deck 8
Where are the other 2 ?!?
I thought maybe on the rear deck as there are 3 grills there. One for the sub-woofer and two others. But no! The sub-woofer is the only speaker on the rear deck.
Finally figured it out. The rear door speakers are dual cone. Two-ways or co-axials as we called them in the old days. 9 and 10!
I will sleep tonight!
