@Weshoot2

Why did You buy the same car 3 times? Did you have any problems with previous Kizzashis that you owned or you just wanted to buy another Kizzy with less miles or in better shape?

The first one got replaced because the next one was a low-mileage GTS model with a moon roof, Bluetooth, and that Rockford-Fosgate stereo.
That one got replaced because a deer totaled it.
The one I'm currently driving will get replaced because, after ten years and nearing 400,000 miles of Kizashis, I'm simply looking for something different........

I have done minimal maintenance, I drive them horrifically hard, and they all have withstood my unrelenting abuse.

Wow! 273 000 miles and still going strong. That's amazing. I am really happy to hear that these cars, beside beeing so stylish and fun to drive, are a real workhorse that can take hundreds of thousands of miles of abuse...

I am not sure how long do I want to keep the car. I like the way it looks, the way it drives and the features it has, and for now, for me, my wife and a small daughter there is more than enough space inside. However, when we get another kid, or maybe even a third one, I am affraid that our Kizzy will become too small and that we will have to buy a bigger car. But until that day comes, I will enjoy every single time I sit behind the steering wheel.

Encouraging to hear how well our Kizashi's last. I have been considering replacing my Kiz with a Hybrid Camry for the last two years but just can not bring myself to say goodby to my Kiz. With Biden talk of making gasoline more expensive may sway me. Getting 51 mpg in a hybrid Camry is temping. But every time I drive my Kiz I enjoy the drive and thoughts of replacing it go away.

According to my knowledge, the price of the Gasoline is arround 3 times more expensive here in Europe, comparing to US, so even if the prices go higher in US, it is still gonna be far away from prices in Europe. And the Kizashi is maybe not the car with smallest fuel consumption but is really far from beeing a thursty horse.

Anyway, the carindustry is generaly speaking going fast in direction of developing more and more electro cars that are not going to be so fun to drive beside the good acceleration and solid performances. If you are an odlschool driver that enjoys the good old petrol engine with its beautiful sound, than better stick to your Kizashi as long as you can. This kind of cars are not gonna be produced again nowhere in the near future...

Filled it up yesterday 1,55 euro ( like 2dollars?) per liter (gallon is around 4,5 litters?). This was shell vpower at a cheap gasstation. Its probably 2,5 times the price of us-fuel :lol:

Averaging at 8l per 100km which is around 30+mpg

In Germany is Gasoline at the moment a bit cheaper, around 1,22 euro for liter. And my Kizashi has a bit higher consumption than yours, I am at arround 9 liter per 100 km, with combined city and the highway. I find it to be totally acceptable, especially when being considered how much joy this car gives me when ever I'm driving it...

Petrol is about $1.80/gallon here in the upper midwestern US. It fluctuates. We became energy independent and the largest exporter of oil and natural gas in the world under current leadership... So gasoline has been pretty cheap.. watching to see what happens here.
