Hi all...I've seen several posts about this but wanted to share my experience and situation. My tire pressure sensors (original parts 2010 Kizashi) have been done for like 8 years. Sometimes able to be reset at service apps. Now have had the TPMS Not Registered warning.

In need of replacement and it sounds like specific parts are needed, not what Autozone ,etc thinks fit your car. Any clarity on what I need?

Thanks everyone!

Search the forum. Old Tech and others have found specific sensors that work with programming tools and methods. It's been discussed rather extensively on this forum in specific threads.

What you want is Continental/VDO SE10001HP

There are cheap imitations out there that give problems, so beware.

I did get these exact replacement parts (brand new 4 pack) and put all 4 in. Everything synced. Previous alert had said "TPMS ID Not Registered". After about 15 minutes of driving a "Service TPMS" popped up. New alert from what I've had in past. Anyone else have this occur on brand new sensors after install?

Many thanks

Is it possible to show pic of ad of sensors you purchased ? Does the tire icon flash ? if so , how many flashes? I always test drive and check ID of new sensors and reported pressures on data using Snap-on Solus.

From AutoZone. Continental/VDO Universal OE Quality Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor SE10001HP.

They did test drive, since I know it takes a minute to resolve tpms issue in the past. No tire icon. Just alert triangle above data rectangle and information warning that is occasional within speedometer

I would think the sensors you have purchased are just fine. Can you get a scan tool that can check this system for codes and live data ? The TPMS houses the codes for the keyless start system as well.

Code when I went in was L1 or something wasn't connecting so I luckily brought in an individual extra one I just purchased...seemed to work now

From installer seems like 20-30% of brand new sensors are bad. 1 out of 5 for me...I'll consider myself lucky
