Has anyone got a high mileage Kizi

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Yeah, we have the RF system without the Kenwood nav unit. Our's are said to be the best factory audio system for the Kizashi and I must agree. I have no complaints and even 15 is rather loud. 20 vibrates the air in my trachea with the bass only at 4 out of 6.

I wonder who built the UK versions. Needless to say no car manufacturer makes their own, so I wonder ??

All I can say is that it sounds better than anyone I have ever had, and I presume it is Japanese

I actually put it to 31 once, but heard the distortion, so put it back to 29.

That's awesome! Is it the same logo? I'd love to see a pic of that! 8-)

There was a Japanese accessories catalog that showed head units by Clarion and Panasonic. 8-)

3 years old in feb 2013 (bought as leftover 2010 in feb 2011)

hood then whole car painted within first year

Sub woofer replaced early

On third set of tires, OEM went about 32k, Yokohama Envigor (LOUD) about36k and the current Continental Pro Contact tires are still holding up (more than I would have thought at this point) My dealer has a "tires for life" with standard maintenance, rotations, alignments. They will cover up to 180 per tire. This has worked fine for me and has been well worth their reasonable maintenance charges for service.

Did serpentine and plugs myself at about 90k. Have K&N filter installed. Front brakes were done by dealer at around 95 (longer than I would have thought there too-rotors were turned-pads installed) and for the back I actually bought the rotors and pads and the dealer (mazda.former suzuki) installed them. It was too cold out for me to do it and I didn't want to disrupt my "tires for life" which they are continuing to honor so far.

It currently needs shocks (probably struts also) but it has worn well outside of initial paint issue and I think this is a well done car overall.

Props for actually driving your Kizashi. Mine is still sitting in my garage with less than 8000 miles

How are the Continentals working out?

The Continentals are still on. Probably replace by winter. I'm happy with them for my driving which is primarily travel for work.

Goofing around with volume listening to "yeah" by usher . I noticed it says "max" on the RF, I think after 34. I'm sure this has been pointed out before.
