Rims have new paint. They were a bit darker than I expected, but I think it fits well.
Any thoughts?

I think it looks bad ass! Like you said it came out a little darker than you expected, but it is still grey.

I love these man, almost went with something very similar. Not sure if you've checked out my build before but I sense our taste is similar. Solid specs too! Other than myself and CG1 not many have gone heavy into the wheel spec game. I had 20 x 11.5's et28 at one time with 245/35s stretchedd. Of course I had my car on the ground as well so rolling my fenders were a must. Keep it up man!

They're going to stick out from the side by about an inch and half (35 mm). Under extreme compression I think the fenders are going to rub on the tread of the tire, but no way to know for certain without actually trying them.
Stock 18" wheels have an offset of 45 mm, you need to get close to that for them to fit correctly.

Kizashi is ET50. I think you are ok if you still stick with 235 (or 225) tyres. They will be stretched and thereby give you just enough room when your kizashi is loaded and going over bumps.

The winter is coming soon and I will have to change the tyres. Saying so, I saved the wheels from my previous car. The wheels are 5 spoke original wheels from Suzuki Vitara, and I put the Nokian winter tyres 225 45 R17 on it. The tyres are fast new and I only drove them 3 months last winter. However, I recently looked at the user manual and unfortunatelly Suzuki mentiones that for 17 inch Rim should come with 215 55 tyre. That means that I can not fit the old tyres on these rims, and I will have to buy the new ones. My only concern is will Kizashi look somehat silly wit those relatively fat tyres with 55mm sidewalls? Should I better buy the 235 45 R18 winter Tyres and put them on OEM wheels, and then buy some new aftermarket wheels for summer tyres? Is Kizashi somehow more comfortable on 55mm tyres, and does it affect the handling performance in a big way? Any suggestions or opinions?

A 225/45-17 tire+wheel combination is about 5% smaller in diameter than a 215/55-17. This is outside of the typically suggested +/- 3% fir tore sizing, but as long as the load rating on the smaller tire is appropriate for the vehicle, it doesn't present any particular safety concern. Your speedometer would simply read about 5% off. If you wish to use the 17" wheels but want a more substantial tire a 225/50-17 (1.5% smaller diameter than 215/55-17) or 235/50-17 (identical to stock diameter) should fit on the 17" rim, and fall within the typical +/- 3% guideline. That said, I have a set of 215/55-17 Nokian tires on my car, and they perform perfectly fine.
