@WESHOOT and others, I have 2010 SE 40k had both headlights replaced the left was costly, $92.00 did't have place or time for DIY. other then that natta no other repairs. and use synthatic
oil. love the car still. and I also do trip digits. I sure surprised a Honda si the other day..:)lol

Do you find it gets kind of "loose" like the yaw angle pitches about somewhat? I also feel this on concrete pavement. Especially on curves, and rough or wavy surfaces make it even more noticeable. A little loosey-goosey in the tail...WESHOOT2 wrote:

I believe some of that 'off the edge' feel comes from square-bottomed tires; once they roll up on their edge the car gets "nervous".
I notice something similar (or the same; semantics, ay?) on roads worn deep, or in the wind.
But I suggest my car handles great, as long as the driver understands the nuances of the electric steering's ability to add or subtract force, or wheel input vs tire angle.
Every surface in Vermont is rough or wavy........

Last night my right low-beam failed; oh the horror.
I'll get it replaced (hopefully) Tuesday when I do the plugs.
AND....I JUST ordered a set of 215/60 R16 Conti ExtremeWinterContacts ($458 shipped to the house).

New plugs (101,899 miles) and right-side lowbeam yesterday, $190.27 at the dealer.
Wife called earler and said my new 215/60 R16 ExtremeWinterConacts were delivered by Fed-Ex this morning.
My Kizashi is coming together.............

I had my new Continental ExtremeWinterContact snows mounted Monday (at 102,368 miles) and I am impressed; by the superior balancing they did at the dealer, and the quiet ride of these tires.
You can tell by the miles accrued I already checked them out
I look forward to testing them in bad weather.
But......
.......the TPMS repair kits I bought are not the 'right' ones, and I needed at least the one replaced --broken valve stem-- but the cost, to me, installed, is $262.
For one.
So, after my blank searching look, I told them to install rubber stems, and return to me the TPMS sensors I had them remove from all four wheels.
Notice: in Vermont, to pass the yearly inspection, all safety systems must work, and no warning lights on the dash.
Uh-oh, my inspection is due in December.
Other than that, with the new smooth quiet perfectly balanced rubber, I feel like I have a (quiet) new Kizashi.
