Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

People seem to be buying parts reliably from this site.

Call to make sure they have all the parts you need and that it's for your AWD model.

Yup, this is why it's good to get those kind of parts (like the shocks) elsewhere. However, I really doubt you can find the rear shock countermeasure bump stoppers from a generic parts wholesaler. Same may go for the bolts and nuts.

So far:

-front/rear rotors and pads (SP Performance parts)
-both front headlamp bulbs
-license plate bulbs; twice
-tires; lotsa tires.

That's it.

That's sad...keep it 'til it won't run or cost more than that to fix whatever breaks.

That's pretty good maintenance wise for 150K miles, for any car. Some Pre-2008 Subarus are about the same value for the miles but would have required a $1500-ish head gasket change around 120K miles, in addition to all the other maintenance stuff.

I was curious about how hard would you say you drive your Kizashi? Do you get it high into the RPM's on a regular basis? Hard or soft on the brakes? Take turns faster or slower? Frequency of oil changes and oil type used most often?

There may be a quite a few Kizashis with about this many miles, but their owners typically don't mention what's fallen off over that length of time, nor with the level of detail that you can provide. Azumi's at 23K-ish miles, and I'm curious about what maintenance is going to be as she starts to hit the milestones mentioned in the service manual.

I drive my car harder than anyone I've ever met in my 60 years alive; I drive like an irresponsible teenaged male trying to impress his buddies.
To wit: My 35 mile drive into work today took 28 minutes (cruised up interstate between 80--100MPH).
I spent significant time hammering our unpaved roads (less than half the roads in Vermont are paved).
While I attempt to save my brakes, I often brake radically, from high speeds.
I "take turns" (ah, driving joy) at high G's, often entering 4-wheel drifts on both pavement and dirt.

In sum, I drive hard. I always have.
Not EVERY driven mile is 'hard', because sometimes I just cruise.......

Maintenance has been performed judiciously, with oil changes between 7--10,000 miles.
I've done a couple diff fluids.
That's it.
Oh, I had the plugs done around 110K (?).

So, I do little except drive it. And buy tires

And it's more than fair to say I drive it very hard.......... :drive:
