Unlike my FOCUS, the KIZASHI is SUPER EASY to work on. Suzuki did a FANTASTIC job of making everything accessible. If you have any experience working on cars you will notice what I am talking about.

Really? I haven't worked in a focus, but I don't think the Kizashi is that easy to work on. Oil change is harder than any car I have had, and bulb replacement (headlamps) is also much harder than in any other car I had.

I assume you're being sarcastic, right? As Alex says changing light globes at the front is a b***h and I would hate to be a Kizashi tech trying to track down a bad connection in the wiring harnes (I tried to hook up a connection at the main junction box, soon gave that up as a bad idea!)

well there is no steering or throttle linkage to get in the way, cause both are
electricly controlled. the kizashi is indeed drive-by-wire! the oil filter is super simple, just remove the heat shield covering the headers and there it is. Just have to use a SMALL CAP OIL FILTER WRENCH. yea you have to remove a body panel (6) small bolts to get to drain plug, still no big deal.
Now when they eventually put a V6 in it it will be different, but if you cant work on the 4 cyl version than thats scary!

i understand where rocket_man is coming from. Oil changes of the old were easy, no obstructions ample hand room, but most all new cars nowadays have nearly impossible to reach oil filters, the kiz is comparatively easy.
