My stupidity left my kizzy with a boo boo

So I was not really paying attention to backing out of my sisters drive way and I backed into her garbage can. It's left a dent in the lower rear fender. Being just plastic I think it can maybe just pop back out.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions if I can do this myself ?

If there's a dent, it's not plastic.

Would help if you could post up a pic.

You should be able to remove the plastic cover under the rear bumper so you can get behind it and just push it out by hand. If not, heat it up just a bit with a heat gun/ blow dryer, then push it.

be careful if you resort to a heat gun. It could take your paint off if you are not careful. heat it slowly and as uniformly as possible.

I saw a kit in autozone for about 40 bugs, it seems it has all the tools you require to fix this problem. Check it up by thge touch pad section.

I've scuffed 2 wheels on my Kizashi already. Months ago, I did put a post in the DIY section of a rim rash repair. I did a somewhat ghetto job, but still came out ok.

Anyhow, about a month ago, I barely rubbed my rear tire on a curb at a drive-thru. So that scratched my rear rim. Then I ended up with a flat front tire.

Took it in this morning to get the tire patched. They initially said they couldn't repair it because it was a little close to the sidewall and I should buy a new tire. But they did not have an AS7000 Dunlop. This was Goodyear I went to that should carry those LOL. So they went ahead and repaired it anyhow.

So later on today, I took a closer look at my front wheel (the curb rash repair one that I did), and iI saw some new scuff marks. I don't know if it was the oil change place I went to a week ago that did it, or Goodyear. But either one of those places scuffed my wheel. Oh well! Heck with it.

Anyways, my point is that I've gotten into the habit of driving like super careful because the wheels on the Kizashi are so gosh darn easy to scuff. It's like, the rim will hit a curb before the tire will. I wouldn't mind having my rims painted or getting new ones, but I said the heck with it because I know i'll just end up scuffing one again. My car only has about 8500 miles and I feel like I'm tearing the hell out of it already. My goal was to have one those perfectly clean flawless cars that stays that way for as long as I own it..........but I've got scuffed wheels already. I still washed and waxed it today anyhow. But I can't tell that the wheels are scuffed standing 5 feet away from it.

Oh, and if I were to get my wheels painted....I always thought orange wheels/mirrors would look cool on the kizashi
