Change the name of the Kizashi

The Kizashi is really a great vehicle, but the name is (1) Too difficult to pronounce (2) Suzuki finally has a real contender in the marketplace, but the name does not roll of your tongue so many people are reluctant to talk about it openly (3) A name like Kizashi may be fine for a motorcycle but not a car in the American market (4) Think of cars such as A4, 325I, TL, C30 then say Kizashi! It really does not roll off your tongue! Just a suggestion, how about Suzuki K4 or K4A (automatic) K4S (manual). Does anyone agree?

Kizashi (in Japanese - a good omen) means a helluva lot more than just about any other car name on the market. WTF is "camry" or "elantra" mean?

I also disagree that it's hard to pronounce - it's spelled exactly as you say it.

It's prob, the slight stigma Suzuki itself has in the USA....I bet if it was a "Toyota Kizashi", Honda Kizashi, or a "Nissan Kizashi", it would sell off the charts.

I like it this Way...I like hearing "What kind of Car is That??,,it's looks Sweet" ;)

My uncle always asks me what the make of my car is and when I say Kizashi he says "God Bless you!"

Silly, but I laugh.

Take 'em for a little spirited jaunt on a twisty road at 60-65mph, in the rain, in your Suzuki K4 whatever......and after they get done calling you all kinds of names that are far more difficult to pronounce, they'll remember "Kizashi". ;)

Yes the name is "Different" but it is A NAME and not just a bunch of digits...A4, 325I, SL550. AS Shakespeare once wrote " A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Mazda went the other way- they wanted their cars to be easily remembered assuming it would help identify the car wth the buyer. I agree with the OP, the name is difficult to remember for non-owners - not sure they considered this when naming the car.

Once you own it, it no longer relevent - great car!

One thing to keep in mind is that the kizashi is a global car, and the name has meaning.
