iPhone Audio skip

I've had an odd thing suddenly spring up in the past couple days. When I'm listening to music from my iPhone it seems to skip. I'm pretty sure it's not the cable as I have now tried two new ones and it is still happening. Now I just need to figgure out if its an issue with the dock connector on my iPhone, or a short in the head unit somewhere.

I use an Ipod touch and have not had any issues, could be the IOS, maybe an issue with an update, sorry to hear that.

I've been having this issue as well, but I'm doing Android over Bluetooth, ie, a completely different setup. maybe there is an issue with the car and now our phones?
