ON MY OWN; 410 DAYS

February 6th, and I currently have 36,006 miles on my 2011 S AWD.
I'm on my own now........(okay, there's the powertrain warranty, but that bumper-to-bumber blanket no longer comforts me).

Other than that, car still sings to me in sweet tones.
It's a locomotive on slippery Interstates.
It gets decent gas mileage for how it gets driven.
Its cabin still quietly coddles.

All I've done are its services.
Paint still attached (except where I scraped that curb).

Curious what other maintenance you have done besides oil/filter at this point? Have you replaced the cabin air filter? If so do you have any info on that part?

Frankly, I have no concrete knowledge of what's been done, but my 30K service cost about $500, so I assume the cabin filter got done.
I can breathe easily in the car.....

All fluids have been replaced; that I do know. The latest alignment specs were used during the car's repair in December. I do 5K intervals for normal maintenance.

I was advised that brakes seem to need attention by 30K, but mine are still fine (even though I drive like a crack-crazed moonshiner, I try to baby my brakes). Struts/shocks get a near-daily extreme workout (pounding insanely down pot-holed and rutted unpaved roads) but continue to keep the sheetmetal off the ground.

To be blunt, I'm surprised by its durality and overall toughness. But I like that!

I don't recall if your car is a MT or CVT trans. So when you say ALL fluids have been replaced I wonder about the CVT and the involvement/cost of that operation, or, if it's even a good idea.

tranny (so-called) fluid

If its replacement was officially called for it was done.

(Mine's a 2011 S AWD).
