So I am at 3000 miles, averaging 20 mpg, which is horrible. This is with 50/50 highway/city. I drive conservatively. So recently I reset and seems when I drive in the city my mpg keeps trending down toward 17. In fact when I drive at a constant 40 mph the INSTANT mpg shows 15 mpg. Anytime when I even light press on the pedal the instant mpg drops to 15. When i let go and let the car glide with momentum it climbs to max > 60. When I accelerate from stop like normal the INSTANT mpg shows < 5. I am wondering what other people are seeing with their computer display in this scenarios. Thanks.

I'm a averaging 22.2 mpg and I've been Mashing the throttle for the last 1000 miles. Hit 3000 miles on odo yesterday. When I Drove it efficient the most mpg I got was 22.8 and I drive pretty much only city/traffic/neighborhood speeds..average speed on dash says 22mph

The worst tank i ever had in my Kizzy was 23.5
The Kizzy display is very sensitive to throttle inputs. It takes very little throttle to make the instant MPG display drop. I very seldom use that, and when i do, i only use it as a general guideline.
I use the average MPG display most of the time. I have had that thing into the low 40's, but normally cannot keep it there for an entire tank.
I just got back from a trip yesterday, and on a 90% highway 10% city tank i got a little over 33MPG.

Whats the mileage? I brought it to a suzuki shop regarding the problem of only getting 20 mpg but they blew me off saying nothing they can do n that the car is broken in yet... At 3k and 8 months. They said it will improve at 7k. I don't really believe it.

Actually, many members have stated that they received better mpg after it was broken in.
